Susanna Speier is a working journalist who creates online content and cultivates social media communities for brands that value accuracy, transparency and good prose.

 

 

Speier studied social media journalism with Sree Sreenivasan at Columbia Graduate School of Journalism's School of Continuing Education before setting up shop as a social media strategist, and has been helping small businesses cultivate online communities ever since.

Speier holds a Master of Fine Arts in playwriting from Brooklyn College, C.U.N.Y.; a post-graduate screenwriting certificate through Boston University’s BU in LA program; and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts from Hampshire College.  

 

In her non-commercial life, Speier’s plays and librettos have been performed at Tenri Cultural Institute, Galapagos Art Space, HERE Arts Center and the Jean Cocteau Repertory Theater.  Her first prose poem will be featured in an upcoming issue of The Atticus Review.
